"Who, If Not Us, Will be Responsible"

Welcome
to the Black Child Development Institute of Seattle (BCDI-Seattle).
In 1973, Bunny Wilburn founded BCDI-Seattle.  Bunny was and remains a steadfast advocate for all children, with a special devotion to African American children.
BCDI-Seattle is an organization of dedicated volunteers.
We are part of a network of 42 affiliates, spanning 22 states, that is connected with the
National Black Child Development Institute - NBCDI.

BCDI holds monthly meetings. from September through June, on the third Saturday of each month, from 12:30pm until 3:30pm, at Treehouse, 2100 24th Ave S, Room C, Seattle, WA  98144.  May is an exception since BCDI-Seattle's Spring Conference is always held on the third Saturday in May.
